Halo is a 3-year-old bay gelding who stands 15.1 hands. Halo is a correct mover, having a long flat ground covering stride, and has correct conformation, with terrific hooves, clean legs and a good saddle area.
Halo is a friendly yet very businesslike horse. He is always happy to be worked with and enjoys attention. He never turns down a meal. He is very good with the farrier and vet. He stands tied in his stall, leads, has been worked in the round pen and has very good ground manners, having basic in hand training. He will be more than ready to start under saddle as a 3-year-old.
He has the potential to develop into a top-level endurance horse that will happily handle any distance, and eventually 50–100-mile rides.
However, he can handle any discipline that requires an athletic smart partner.
He should mature 15.3 hand range in a large yet elegant frame.

Halo's Dam
Stardancer is a purebred Shagya-Arabian mare (Book I) that stands 15.1 hands. She is by Starwalker (*Amurath Samurai x *Kornelia) and is out of the imported Shagya-Arabian mare *Szikra (Saphiro x 2 Siglavy Bagdady VI).
Stardancer was the highest scoring mare on the 2015 breed inspection tour, receiving 9 for her type and head, and an 8 for her walk and legs. Stardancer is a beautiful, smart and kind mare that is fun to ride and great to handle. She has competed in endurance, competitive trail riding, hunter paces and has dallied in fox hunting and dressage. Adults and children enjoy riding and handling her.
Star's sire Starwalker was a large, impressive Shagya-Arabian stallion, who stood 16.1 hands. He was bred by the Stelli Family of Quebec who had imported his parents from Switzerland. Her Shagya-Arabian dam *Szikra was imported to the USA by her owner Petra Gorski. *Szikra's sire is a famous European Shagya-Arabian stallion named Saphiro, who stood nearly 16hh, completed his HLP in 1979 and was approved for Trakehner breeding. Saphiro is also found in Starwalker's pedigree.
Halo's Sire
*Hadban USA (Harapnik x *Irahna 453) aka "Reno" was imported from Austria in utero. *Hadban is one of the few Shagya-Arabian stallions born in the USA with a proven career competing under saddle. He has over 905 AERC recorded miles to date, including completing the 2019 Tevis 100-Mile Ride. Reno is known for his fabulous character and rideability.
His sire, Harapnik, is a representative of the Romanian HADBAN sire line developed primarily at the Radautz State Stud and is well respected in Europe for having success in distance riding. His Romanian dam lines are proven providers of the attributes of tractability, toughness, hardiness, and iron-like legs and hooves.
His imported Shagya-Arabian dam, *Irahna-453, is sired by the well-known German-bred Amor son Amos who was a classic Gazal/Shagya cross stallion. Her classically bred dam line is from Bábolna State Stud, Hungary, famously known as the birthplace of the Shagya-Arabian breed. *Irahna also carries Crabbet blood through Nizzam ox. She was imported along with her daughter, our mare *Lutka-62, who was also in foal to Harapnik. Lutka was a fabulous mare, she competed with us in competitive trail riding and endurance and was a wonderful broodmare.
